St. Andrew’s youth has a “Youth to Youth Connection” with the youth of Little Baguio, Philippines. We
made this connection through Joe Dugan from the “Hospitality Too – Peanut Butter Gang”. We started by making
wash up kits for the homeless in conjunction with the PBJ gang. Joe suggested that we make wash kits for the youth
in Little Baguio to care for their elders. The youth in Little Baguio have a mission of walking miles to visit their elders
who have dispersed themselves in the mountain to live alone as to not be a burden on their families. The youth visit
them and make them a small meal of oatmeal, share in conversation, and lovingly bathe and care for them. The
youth of Little Baguio are the feet of God and our youth group is the hands of God working together to serve God
through the forgotten elders. How wonderful that we can reach around the world and wrap them in love.
